Boston Blogger Social

As Crush has been working arduously to expand its online and social media presence, so have Boston’s fashionistas. Boston is a community oriented city, particularly in the fashion world, where boutiques and bloggers often collaborate to make the city a more stylish place. Thus, it seemed fitting that Crush’s interns, Isabella and Adrienne, should plan a Boston Blogger Social–a chance for Boston’s bloggers to meet and greet over sweet treats and bubbly.

Last Thursday Crush hosted its first ever Boston Blogger Social. The night was full of Crush favorites: fashion, macaroons, bubbly and of course, creative and fun women!

In a day and age where women check their e-mails more than their mailboxes, we thought it wise to deliver a tech-savvy Paperless Post. This J. Crew design was as pretty as it was environmentally friendly!

Bites and Bubbles

You might have guessed this from our Instagram account, but Crush gals have a notorious sweet-tooth. We kept our bites sweet and mini. A spread of rainbow candies and fabulous French macaroons stole the show. Crema Cafe, one of our favorite spots in Harvard Square, worked with us and supplied gorgeous and unique macaron flavors. Guests munched on Mango, Chocolate Basil, Black Current and Dulce de Leche macaroons. We may or may not have enjoyed a few ourselves. Of course, these desserts couldn’t have been enjoyed without a few sips of pink lemonade and Prosecco!

The Swag Bag…

Who doesn’t love a goodie bag? Perhaps it’s the nostalgia from childhood birthday parties, but Crush is serious about Swag, and we love to keep it local. Boston businesses were eager to help another local establishment, and they made fabulous sponsors. The bags featured cosmetics from Benefit, coupons from our friends at Reflections, KitchenWares and Blackstones, an online code from Trust jewelry, bracelets from Tiana of the ultra-cool start-up Boutikey, and gift certificates from our friends at G2O and The Paint Bar! We’re so glad we were able to provide guests with a fun way to remember Crush’s very first Boston Blogger Social!

A big thank you goes out to the chic guests of the evening. Each blogger invited has her own style, and it was amazing to see them incorporate Crush into their closets. Fashion discussion centered around crop tops, leather shorts, bright clutches, and a super chic Skull Cashmere infinity scarf! Photos were taken, friends were made, and we can’t wait to see everyone’s posts about the evening. The future is full of exciting collaborations between Crush’s Bloggers and Boston’s Bloggers, and we know it will bring many more Boston Blogger Socials!
